~June Update~

Hello, friends!
I hope your weekend is going well and that you are able to find some time for relaxing
and creating!
We all need time for renewal and creativity, don't we??

I was inspired to create a few new pieces and wanted to let you know that I am having a
 small Update
on my Picture Trail Selling Site!
Monday, June 3rd, at 11 AM, EST. (8 AM, Pacific Time, for you early birds!)

The album will be closed for now but will be open Monday at 11 AM!

Here is a little sneak peek for you!

Antique Butter Paddle and Berries!
There will be 5 more of these butter paddles available, all different, with different fabrics and two red strawberries!  They are definitely very primitive if you love that style!
(All of the other things in the photo are for display only!)

I plan to do a larger Update soon, but just couldn't wait to offer these
Butter Paddles and Berries for now!

I hope you can join me Monday morning, and I look forward to your visit!!

Wishing you peaceful moments of quiet reflection and creative Bliss, my friends~

You are always so full of creative ideas and it looks like you are enjoying every minute of it. I don't have a primitive style in my home but I appreciate the look and all your creative efforts. You are amazing.
I'll come around to visit your picture trail on Monday.
Take care, Hugs, Julia

Oh how your cat reminds me of a few I've made and sold over the years. Makes me want to make another. Your doll is beautifully made and bet she will be sold asap, unless it is a picture of a doll which already sold. Good luck with sales.

Hi Marian, Lori, Julia, and Saundra,
Thank you all for your visit and for leaving me your sweet comments! We are all super busy these days, but it is always a treat to read your kind words!

Marian- So good to hear from you and I am happy you love the primitive style like I do! I hope you can stop by tomorrow....all the way from Australia!!! lol

Lori- I am excited about these butter paddles and am so happy you love them, too! The berries and old fabrics just seemed to go well with them!! Keeping you and Brian in our prayers, dear friend!

Julia- We all seem to like different things and the beauty is to be able to appreciate the different styles! Thank you for appreciating mine!! Thanks for your sweet comments and encouragement, always!!! Hope your gardens are growing like crazy!!!

Saundra- I love that sweet kitty and have a collection of other fabric cats all over my home!! They make me smile!! The doll you mentioned in my header is one I made that was adopted and I sure do love her, too! Need to make myself one but always seems like they end up living with someone else!! You really did make wonderful dolls, too!!!

Many thanks to all of you for your kind words and hope you all have a wonderful and blessed week, dear friends!

Happy June Sweet Julie! Your berry paddles are adorable...those berries are so incredibly well done - they really look like authentic time-worn treasures. I’m running behind as always here, LOL. Hope you’re still enjoying pleasant weather....we are still cold and wet. We had one summer-like day last week, but back to the heat on and fires in the fireplace. Last night we were down to 36. It’s going to be a very short summer here. ~Robin~

Hi Robin,
It is always so nice to hear from you and read your lovely comments!! So happy you like the butter paddles and berries!! I just love them and am so happy with how they turned out! The quilt was pretty tattered so it really was perfect for making the berries with!! Even the stuffing is from the old quilt!
We are just beginning to get our normal AZ weather and things are definitely heating up here!! Entering the triple digits zone and will stay there for the next 3 months or so!! Wish you and I could somehow give each other a bit of our extremes so it would be PERFECT WEATHER for both of us!!! Don't you think that sounds like a Great Plan??? If only!!!! *sigh*
Take care and hope things warm up soon, my friend!

Happy June, Julie!! Can you believe that half of the year is almost over??? 2019 seems to be on speed dial this year!LOL!!

Your kitty is so darn cute and I love the stitched Log Cabin. I have never seen a berry paddle and it is sweet with those big fat strawberries. As always, your hands are busy creating and making wonderful prims!!

We are roasting down here in Florida and begging for rain. It feels odd to need rain this time of year when we usually get rain every day or so. 2019 has been a very odd year weather wise this year! What I love about summer is making Porch Sitting a daily habit either early in the am or evening before the mosquitoes arrive. It is so perfect for a glass of ice tea and a good book! Hopefully your state will offer you good weather for cultivating this very southern habit of ice tea and porch sitting'! It feels very prim too!LOL!!

Take care and it is always fun to hear from you and your studio!!

Hi Winnie,
Thank you for your visit and for loving my pieces!! Butter paddles were used for just that...scooping out butter, and they are such wonderful prim pieces!! I have a bowl full of them and had these extra that I wanted to share! I just love how they look with the berries and old fabric!!
So sorry to hear about your weather and do hope you get some much needed rain! Sadly, it is way too hot to porch sit here as my home faces East/West and it makes it very hot! When I lived in VA, I used to LOVE to porch sit and drink SWEET iced tea!!! Boy, does that ever sound good!!!!
Hope you get some relief soon and can enjoy your porch and iced tea!!
Have a great week, my friend!
Heart Hugs~
