~Finally......I'm Back, and an Update~

HELLO, my dear blogging friends!!!

After a rather L O N G break, I am very happy to be back!!

Life just got extremely busy for me and I kept telling myself that I would
post tomorrow!!
Then tomorrow kept turning into the next day, and the next and so on and so forth!!
Before I realized it, 5 months had gone by!!!

Is it REALLY May????

I am so very sorry for the long silence and am so grateful for all the wonderful emails I received
from many of you!!
Your kind words and concern touched my heart and just know that it means so much to know I was missed!!

Hopefully, I will be posting on a regular basis and trying to keep up with many of you that I follow!
I sure do have a LOT of catching up to do!!!

We have been having some very warm weather here in Arizona, and several days we actually reached 100 degrees!!
Thankfully, this week we are seeing more weather in the 80's and that is much more to my liking!!

Back in early March, I took some pictures of some flowers I saw in a neighbor's yard during one of my daily walks and wanted to share them with you!!

So many colorful blooms!!

Aren't they lovely?

Can you believe these are all in one person's front yard??

They reminded me of a piece I punched recently!

It is a lovely design by Lori Brechlin
called Tulip Heart!!
Sorry the picture is a bit dark!!

Here is another piece I really enjoyed making recently,
also another wonderful design by Lori Brechlin!
This one is called Peppermint Tulips
and I just love all these colors together!
I added a black twill tape hanger
so it can be hung from a peg, hook, or cupboard knob!

I added a black wool heart to the back, which not only looks pretty,
but also serves to cover up the place where I stitched it closed!!
MPH is short for My Primitive Heart!
Hearts always make things so pretty, don't you think?

I am pleased to share that I will also be having a small Update in my Picture Trail Selling Shoppe  and so as not to let any more time get away from me,
it will be tomorrow evening, Monday, May 6th, at 9:00 PM, EST, (6:00 PM, PST)
The album is closed for now to get everything ready
but will be open at 9:00 sharp!
You can go to my Picture Trail by clicking on the tab under my header!
I will have lots of rabbits, carrots, strawberries, and even a pineapple, plus several other things!
After all, velvet rabbits and cloth carrots, aren't just for Easter!!

Here is a little sneak peek for you!!!

I hope you can join me on Monday evening!!

Wishing you all the joys of Spring, my friends~

Hi Julie! Good to hear from you!

Hi dear Julie, like you I haven't been blogging much either. Life comes along and I put things off until tomorrow and before I know it, it's been a long time.

I love your new creations. They are so incredibly attractive and those flowers are so plentiful, wow!
I can't believe it's been that hot already. I hope that you have a good spring. Here my crabapple tree and my Azelias are not yet in bloom. The flood water has covered my backyard for 14 days and the water has just receded and it's starting to dry up.
Take care, hugs, Julia

It is good to see you posting again and seeing what you have been creating.
Beautiful flowers, I am enjoying more gardening this year and seeing everything green again.

Hi Carolyn,
Yes, that is exactly how it happens!! Life can just get TOO BUSY, and we seem to just get caught up in the rush!! It does feel good to be back and hearing from all the amazing people I have made friends with over the years! Hard to believe we have both been blogging that long, isn't it? Hopefully, we will keep the fun going!! Those flowers were really stunning and it was a shock to see them all in that yard!!! Hope you have a very happy spring, my friend!

Hi Marly,
So nice to hear from you, too!! I do hope and pray your health improves and am happy you found that copy of the magazine with the sampler you wanted!
Take care and be well, my friend!

Hi Julia,
Yes, isn't that just how it happens? The unexpected comes along, or just TOO MUCH comes along and then time just zips on by before you know it!!! I just keep telling myself that everyone who blogs understands that, so it takes the pressure off!! It is supposed to be fun, anyway, right?
I know you have a green thumb so can see you would love those flowers! They were really spectacular!!! So sorry to hear you are flooded again, but hoping it dries up very soon and all your lovely growing things don't suffer! Hope you have a wonderful spring, my friend!

Hi Debbie,
It's so nice to be posting again!! Gosh, but those past months passed so quickly!! The flowers were indeed beautiful and lasted a long time! It was sad when they all died! Sadly, I don't have a green thumb but appreciate those who do!! Enjoy your gardening and happy spring, my friend!

Many thanks to all of you for your visit and friendship!!

Know how you feel about blogging. It has been 3 days since my last post and had intentions of posting yesterday but the day just got away from me. So am planning to post today, it is definitely a commitment and guilt provoking.

Glad you are posting again and love both of those punched pieces designed by Lori.

Julie - My Primitive Heart said...

Hi Saundra,
Yes, blogging is DEFINITELY a commitment and one I have sadly failed at of late! Hoping to change that and be more regular, but won't stress over it and just try to enjoy it!! You are certainly an inspiration to me with your faithful postings!!
I love those designs, too, and have to say that Lori is one of my favorite designers!!!!
Hope you have a great week and look forward to you post, and PLEASE, don't feel any pressure!!!! lol

Hello, Julie...glad to hear you are back! It is difficult to find the time to commit to posting. Days are busy for all of us and the older I get the faster those days seem to go. It's always fun to hear from you...hope you are well...we know you are keeping busy!
Take care,

Hi Robyn,
It feels good to be back!! How very true about posting, being busy, and time speeding by!! Seems we all need to put on the brakes from time to time and slow down, don't we? Always so nice to hear from you and hope you and yours are doing well, too!!
Take care, my friend, and give Annie a hug from me!!

Hey very good to hear from you again. I so know about the MIA thing....I was gone for almost 2 years, but so missed the connections that I have here. For me, the “posting” part isn’t so hard to keep up with...but I am a bit “odd” in that I feel like I shouldn’t post if I haven’t kept up with reading and commenting on others’ blogs....and that, often, I fall behind then I hesitate to post...which is exactly why I am days behind reading your post, and haven’t posted myself in weeks LOL. We are FINALLY greening up a bit here...but still have some snow in ditches, etc. Hope for some low 60 ‘s next week (although that’s a ways off and will likely change for the worse before then)...but the next few days we will only have highs in the 40’s and lows in the 30’s. It’s been a long, brutal, winter this year...and spring seems to have forgotten us. LOVE your Lori always do such impeccable work my friend..... Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Hi Robin,
I know you were missing from blogland for a long time and I certainly was one who missed you!! So happy to see you are posting more often, and sure do hope I can follow your good example!! I know exactly what you mean and we can surely put so many guilt trips on ourselves that others don't even think of! Blogging is supposed to be fun and enjoyed and I am trying to do just that!
Those who are interested and care will always be there when we post, so that is what matters!! Just so happy to be back and will just take each day as it comes and choose joy!!! xoxoxo
We have had such a contrast of temps here in AZ and have gone from a 100 degrees to 60's and rain!! Hoping it will warm up for you soon and having lived in MI, I can remember feeling like spring and summer would NEVER happen!! Living here we are always assured that it will eventually be hot....VERY HOT!!! Would GLADLY send some your way if I could!!
Lori is such an amazing designer and I LOVE her work so much and feel so blessed to be able to create it! They are always a joy to make!!! So happy you love them, too!!
Take care and thanks so much for your visit and sweet words, my friend!
