You truly got to see "America the beautiful" over the 4th! Great pics of you and your sweet grands. So glad you were feeling better and able to enjoy the day! Seeing the Grand Canyon is on Mr. MW's bucket list...he wants to run it...people do that...crazy people. I once flew over the canyon and still remember how big and beautiful it is.
Very hot and humid here...it's July in Florida...lots of rain. I've given up on my herb garden...it drowned.
Been thinking about you.
Hope you are feeling better every day,
Robyn xo

Hi Robyn,
It truly is "America the Beautiful!" I actually could not breath when I got my first glimpse!! Totally AWE INSPIRING!!! The girls enjoyed it so much and the weather was just perfect for taking it all in!! I hope you and your family get to see it in person, and maybe hubby will get to run it!! He is a VERY BRAVE MAN!!!! Can really empathize with you on the heat and am so sorry about your herb garden!! Keeping cool by staying in doors and happy I am not coughing anymore!! Now to just get my arm totally healed!! It keeps getting better so am happy for that!!
Big Hugs to you and Annie, my friend!!

Thank-you for sharing your wonderful photos of the Grand Canyon!! We went to see it a few years ago and it is truly one of the most beautiful and awesome National Parks we have. I am glad you also got to spend time with your darling grand children too. Summers are about making memories with those you love.

We just got home from a two week trip to France where it was 103 for the first two days of our trip! Now back home in Florida, we are stuck in the low 90s with suffocating humidity every day. Not much will change until the end of October around here. I am already dreaming of Fall with this weather! What about you?

Glad you are feeling much better! It is no fun being sick when there is so much you want to do. Stay well and I look forward to a peek at what you are creating with your new project!

Wow. Grand is right! Sorry you were ill but glad you are feeling better. As for weather, first time ever the furnace ran at the end of June! Hot hot to cold cold. Torrential rains have ruined the garden, no peppers this year, maybe not even tomatoes.

You are so right about the Grand Canyon. "There are no words" "Breathtaking" Pictures just don't do it justice!
The grands are just adorable. I just love Sophia's toothless smile.
So happy you are finally feeling better.
Looking forward to seeing what you have been working on.
You don't want to hear about our weather. We've had some hot, humid days, but many that have just been glorious.
Happy day after the 4th :)

How wonderful to visit France, but sorry it was so hot, and then to return to the heat and humidity of home, too!! Oh for cool and crisp breezes!!! Yes, I am dreaming of fall as well!!!
Hope you can keep cool in the AC!!! That's what I am doing!!!
Thanks so much for your visit and sweet comments, Winnie!!

Hi Marly,

It was no fun to be sick and seemed to hang on FOREVER, but am almost back to normal again so very thankful for that and happy no one else got the bug!

Will be very happy to send you lots of AZ sunshine!
Thanks so much for visiting, Marly!

Hi Lauren,
I was thinking of you while I was there, remembering your visit!! It indeed takes your breath away!! Just INCREDIBLE!!!!

Well, y'all were just north of us a ways...we're an hour or so south of Flagstaff, in Prescott, AZ. Beautiful photos--it's hard to capture the absolute grandeur of the canyons with pictures, isn't it? Glad you had such good family time.

Hi Jan,
We actually live in Peoria, so we are about an hour or so south of you!!
We LOVE Prescott and have been there several times!! Such a lovely place to visit!!! The Grand Canyon is truly incredible and I'm happy my pictures turned out as well as they did, but they still don't do it justice!!!

A very LATE Good Mornin', and happy you are doing better. Your Grand trip sounds wonderful, especially enjoying it with your Grand children.
We have driven past the G.C. State Park, but never ventured into it. Some day, I hope, as I understand it is a magnificent and a breadth taking sight to behold.
Hope you can handle this heat. I become 'hermitized' when it is above 100. Today we expect 107...YUK. One good thing, it is dry heat. Humidity really knocks me for a loop.
So happy you are back to Blogland...I will be back visiting soon.
Take care friend, keep healthy and Kool.
Peace,
Barb

Hi Janice,
I was happy my pictures turned out pretty well, but they really don't do the place proper justice!!! It truly is a sight beyond words!! 82 degrees sounds like heaven!! We are still in the triple digits and last night it was still 107 at 10pm!!! Crazy!!! Glad your step daughter enjoyed her visit, even with it being so hot!! Take care and hope you enjoy your nice weather!!

Hi Barb,
Me, too!! Hate being under the weather anytime of the year, don't you?? It was such a wonderful time with the family and a trip we will never forget!! I hope you and your family can make the trip and see it in person as it really is a marvel!!! I have also been a hermit and stay in where it is cool as the heat just drains me!! We are still in triple digits and it was actually 107 at 10 pm last night!!! Craziness, indeed!!! Humidity really does the same to me and sadly it will get very humid here next month during Monsoon season! NOT looking forward to that, but will just keep cool with my best friend.....The AC!!!!
Take care and so good to hear from you!!!

Hope you both have a great week and thanks for visiting, my friends~

Hi Julie!!! I re-found you on another blog and then looked at my favorite blogs that I have posted on my blog ---that I list and yours was not on there anymore :( so I went to my layout and re-entered your address. Don't know why it disappeared?? All is okay for now...has this ever happened to you? No wonder I haven't seen any updates of your Blog.

Anyway, looks as though you had a fabulous trip and love, love your beautiful pictures! It's warm here in Des Moines, Iowa in the high 90's and very humid
:(!!!

Hi Carolyn,
So happy you "found me" again!! Not sure how those things happen, but seems to happen to all of us!!! We DID have a wonderful time and made so many happy memories together!!! Still in the triple digits here, 110 yesterday, and 109 today!!! Keeping cool inside with some projects is the PERFECT WAY to beat the heat!!!! So great to hear from you and thanks so much for visiting, my friend!
