~RUNNING BEHIND~

Happy Monday, dear friends!

Yes, I am seriously RUNNING BEHIND!

Have you ever felt like you have been working really hard,
hurrying as fast as you can,
feeling like you are getting things done,
and then finding out that time just
slipped by
and you don't know
HOW IT HAPPENED??

Well,
that is EXACTLY how I feel!!!

You see,
TOMORROW IS VALENTINE'S DAY
and
I'M NOT READY FOR MY UPDATE!!!
Boo Hoo!!

So,
instead of having an Update before Valentine's Day,
I will be having one
after!

Heartstrings still waiting to be finished!
If you are like me
you love hearts
all year long,
so I am hoping you will be patient with me till I can get more things finished!!

Seems I have been extra organized this time but time has just gotten away from me!
Does anyone else feel that way??

Anyway, I will be very busy today, finishing up stitching,
doing a bit more stuffing,
and some staining,
and hopefully, will be ready soon!!

Here is a little peek at a few things I will be offering......

So Sweet!!
Chums sawdust stuffed pillow by Pineberry Lane!

The perfect red wool and red velvet!
Little Brown House (only mine is red) by Pineberry Lane!

I am also getting ready to offer my very first pattern,
Butter Mold Heart,
and it will be available in PDF
for punch needle and rug hooking!!
I am really excited about it and hope you will like it!!
Hopefully that will be offered at the time of my Update!!

^^^^^^^^^*^^^^^^^^^
I have truly loved blogging and have met so many wonderful people who share my love of decorating, creating, and just being a part of my journey!!
I value each comment and email, and am so happy to know that there are so many who share what is important to me!!  Thank you for taking the time in this busy world we live in, to stop by and visit!!
As Tom Bodette says,
"I'll leave the light on for you!"

Wishing each of you Serenity and Peace, in your busy world~

Julie

Hello from a new reader/follower of your blog. I just adore these pretty little hearts and other creations of yours. I don't do needle felting or rug hooking (altho I did try rug hooking about six years ago) I just love wool and things made with wool. I have a wool stash for sewing / crafting that I've saved and felted. I do have some ideas for using it in bags or purses, stuff like that.

Hi sweet Julie,
I love your 'Heart strings'...when will they be ready? Man you have been so productive not to mention your organization. Puts me to shame. I totally agree...Hearts and Love should always be in season all year long.
I am always behind...but that is typically me, so join the club I need company.
Just did some house work if you can believe that? Now it is time to play after some lunch.

Have a joyful Day as always and Happy Valentine's Day too,
Barb

Hi Julie, You're hearts are beautiful! Early or late, we love seeing your work! You have a way of writing that just speaks to me and helps me realize we are all in the same "boat" most of the time...running behind :)

I wish you the happiest Valentine's Day!! Think of you so often!

Julie, I don't know how you do it all. So many creative pieces. Some day, you'll get all caught up. I hope that you can enjoy the process even though you think you're behind. It's all in the perspective. I think you are a year ahead and not running behind at all. Happy Valentine Day tomorrow.

We're having a really major snow storm with blizzard conditions, very high wind since this morning. Many people are without power again and there another big storm coming our way for thursday. The snow banks are already higher than me.

My granddaughter is expecting her baby on Thursday. I hope the baby waits till the storms are over. The roads are closed and the snow plows are off the road.

Take care sweet friend.
Hugs, Julia

All good things come to those who wait...and if you had not told me, I would have not known you were late...as hearts have no season my friend...you, of all, know that. And meticulous takes time....that is what sets you AHEAD of so very many others.... <3 I am loving every stinking thing I'm seeing...as always! But, oh...that butter mold heart punched piece has me drooling...So glad you are offering up the pattern....will you also offer your hand-dyed floss that you used?? If I attempted this, I would want it to look at least half as amazing as yours!!! Hope the Day of Hearts was good to you...as you have one of the goodest hearts I know... Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Julie - My Primitive Heart said...

Hi Robin,
Such generous and kind words, my friend! I am deeply humbled by them and thank you, SO MUCH!! I'm so happy you love what I make and are excited about my punched piece! I was able to find a substitute for the floss I used that will work just as well and be easier for everyone to find! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day, sweet friend!! Thanks again for your visit today!!!
Hope you are staying warm in Nod!
