~ I LOVE WALLS - Part 3, and an UPDATE~

Hello, Dear Friends!  I hope you are all enjoying some beautiful weather and having a wonderful weekend!!  It is a lovely day here in sunny So Cal and I am really enjoying the cooler mornings and evenings we are finally having!!

~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~

This will be my final installment of my "I LOVE WALLS" series, and though I have many more walls I could show, I figured three walls was the perfect number to end with!! There are LOTS of pictures with this post, so please get comfy and enjoy the tour!

The star of this last wall is my primitive black cupboard!  I love this cupboard because it is filled with so many of my favorite things......

Vintage tomato pincushions....

Old photos and old spools of thread.....

Worn baby shoes.....

Antique tin types......

Brown transferware tea cup with old tomato pincushion and emery strawberry.....

Old book, scissors, and silver creamers and sugars made into pincushions by me......

String of buttons, little lights, another antique tin type.....all tiny treasures!!

A doll trunk from days-gone-by, covered in wall paper sits proudly on the top shelf, flanked on each side by baby shoes and pincushions, and textile bobbins.....oh my!!

Close up of wallpaper on the doll trunk!
Wonderful hat pins and orphan baby shoes!

Favorite pincushion (made by me from a Kindred Spirits
pattern)  with sweet little baby shoes!

Below the hanging cupboard is my favorite red drop leaf table, with more treasures on top.

Under the table is a wonderful wooden box filled with quilts!

Handmade by Lori Rippey!

On the wall next to the cupboard are three stitcheries!  This one was made by my dear friend Lori Rippey!  I love Lori's work and treasure each piece I am fortunate enough to own!!

I think they look perfect together and were just the right size to fit in that small space!!

Here they are, hanging above an old crock with a touch of blue!

And now for the final display......

There is certainly a lot packed into this small space but when you have 2 busy granddaughters, you have to do what you can and keep it all in a gated room!  This is my little haven and they know that they must just look and not touch without Gramma!!

I so hope you have enjoyed my little series and have been inspired to do some new things in your own home!  Thank you for letting me share some of my favorite walls with you!!

I also wanted to mention that I am going to be having a small update on my Picture Trail early next week!!  I wanted to have so much more made but just did not get it all done, so rather than keep waiting, I am just going to offer what I have for now and keep working on things for the next one!!  The update will be on Tuesday, Oct. 1st at 8AM, PDT!  I hope you will stop in if you have some time!

Thank you for visiting me and being a part of my life!!  I truly appreciate you!!

Wishing you a Joy-Filled Day~~
